Award recognizes entrepreneurial excellence in the Environmental and Construction category
Ernst & Young announced that Will Gruver, President and CEO of USP&E, provider of power stations and equipment in emerging growth markets, received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2012 Award in the Environmental and Construction category in the Southwest Area North. Will Gruver was selected by an independent panel of judges, and the award was presented at a special gala on June 23, 2012 at the Hyatt Regency Dallas hotel in Dallas, Texas.
“I am humbled by and grateful for this recognition,” Gruver shares, “I think more than anything else though, this award is a direct reflection not of me or my leadership, but of the caliber of people with whom God has surrounded me at USP&E. The economy of the late 2000’s was brutal and we had to make hard decisions. But one of the best ones was to be even more relentless about recruiting the absolute best possible people.”
As a Southwest Area North award winner, Mr. Gruver is now eligible for consideration for the National Entrepreneur Of The Year 2012 Award. Award winners in several national categories, as well as the National Entrepreneur Of The Year Overall Award winner, will be announced at the annual awards gala in Palm Springs, California, on November 17, 2012.
